PC Workstation Food and Beverage POS:

There are several manufacturers of all in one PC’s that are compatible with our software. Any PC with a resistive touch screen is capable of running our software if it falls within the above specification for PC Client Workstation. However there are advantages for using the all in one units. First, they take up much less space, which is often an issue. Next, they are specifically designed for food and beverage environments which regular PC’s are not, allowing them to stand up to things like minor liquid spills, smoke, kitchen grease and the like.

PC Workstations Pro Shop Point of Sale:

Any PC with touch screen is capable of running our software if it falls within the above specification for PC Client Workstation. If space is an issue, our Pro Shop Software can run on the all in one units described above.

Network and Cabling:

A structured wiring plan should be used wherever possible. The EIA/TIA 568 A/B building wire standard should be followed, using a minimum Cat 5 plenum grade cable. A 10/100Mb auto negotiating network switch is recommended with adequate port capacity to include all workstation and remote network devices such as printers.

Other Hardware: Adequately powered UPS devices recommended for all workstations and network server. An APC Smart UPS 1400VA is an example for the server, an APC Back UPS 500VA for a workstation.

Note - Hardware specifications are subject to change.
